A brief history of tag tom wrestling

Following their meet cute in 2019 (wherein American Tommy fell from a two story balcony 20 feet below onto the hood of Zack Fantana’s 2013 Kia Sorento), the two banded together out of financial necessity to become one of the most decorated tag teams in the sport. Hailed as the 21st best tag team of 2021 under the misnomer American Mangs by the eW News Network[1], Zack and Tom quietly spent the early '20s collecting tag team titles from across the independent scene. After receiving some bunk legal advice from the Skull Kids, Fantana and Tommy began competing under the name "American [redacted]", which illogically and unjustly propelled them to further success. No one could explain why their dynamic worked, but their chemistry garnered them more success as a tag team than anyone had ever anticipated and opened doors for them beyond the genre of tag team wrestling.Their chemistry could not save them from God, however. Suffering the success of two CCW Couples Curses in as many years, the longtime partners fell into disarray in the fall of 2026. Despite Zack's generous offer to remain on as his sponsor, Tommy has thus far declined on account of Fantana being a canonically a bad hang when sober. And so, for the first time in six years, Zack Fantana finds himself left to his own devices, historically a bad omen for his psyche. Probably nothing to worry about. His therapist said he's been killing it.
